The company

The center's activities began in December 2002 for Fruit and Vegetable, in the
January/February 2003 for Cash and Carry and in June of the same year for
I'Ittico. The new Rimini Customs uffices have been operational since June 2005.

The corporate structure of CAAR S.p.a., as shown in the data below, the
formation of the Company's Share Capital shows a prevalent participation
of the public component to which is flanked by an important private component.

The Story

1986
The budget initiates the so-called National Market Plan, for repositioning
strategic wholesale markets within a new competitive landscape.

1986-1990
Feasibility studies related to the construction of an Agri-Food center in Rimini.

November 27, 1989
Birth of the Consortium Society Agro-Food Center of Rimini. President Dr.
Francesco Savelli.

July 31, 1997
By decree of the Minister of Industry, the consortium company "Centro Agro Alimentare
Riminese S.p.A." is eligible for financing facilities for the implementation of the
wholesale agri-food markets referred to in L. 28.2.1986 No. 41.

June 1998
Temporary business association headed by ITER scarl wins the contract
Of the center's construction work.

July 24, 1998
Start of work, laying of foundation stone.

2002
Termination of work.

October 13, 2002
Inauguration of the new Agri-Food Center.

December 16, 2002
Transfer of wholesalers, cooperatives, and individual producers to CAAR.
