The "School with Taste" project has restarted at the CAAR - Riminese Agri-Food Center: welcoming the first two classes of the Alighieri Comprehensive Institute were CAAR vice-president Maria Gabriella Piccari with director Cinzia Furiati and Rimini City Council deputy mayor Chiara Bellini

Kicking off Wednesday, March 26, is the second edition of "School with Taste," the CAAR - Centro Agro Alimentare Riminese's project with local schools to introduce children to healthy eating

CAAR director Cinzia Furiati: "A project in which we believe so much is starting again. This year more than 160 students will come to CAAR to experience this educational games and workshops, with the goal of activating good food practices in the younger generation."

CAAR - Riminese Agri-Food Center remembers president Gianni Indino

Director Cinzia Furiati: "With him, CAAR went from a place reserved for operators to a space open to the city and known throughout the world. He would have liked to organize a big party inside the facility for all Rimini residents: we hope to realize this dream in the 25th year of activity and dedicate it to him."

It ended with satisfaction the international mission of CAAR - Centro Agro Alimentare Riminese, which took the president Gianni Indino and the director Cinzia Furiati to Abu Dhabi and Dubai together with the representatives of the Emilia Romagna Mercati Business Network

President Indino: "We have achieved our goal, which was to develop the contacts already made in the United Arab Emirates and consolidate the relationships established to concretize a new business channel through the export of our fruit and vegetables and other products. We will return in February on the occasion of the Gulfood fair."

The Solidarity Logistics Platform turns two years old. Distributed 10,660 quintals of top-quality fresh fruits and vegetables to people in need through nonprofit organizations in the Rimini area

Cinzia Furiati, CAAR director: "CAAR is intervening as a logistics hub and in administrative management with applications for tracking and distribution. We are satisfied with how the project is progressing, which has solidarity purposes, promoting healthy nutrition for the entire population and combating food waste."

Daniele Livio Ziino, president of the Institute for the Family Rimini ODV: "Fundamental is the help CAAR gives to nonprofit associations in terms of organization and logistics, allowing us to make the product arrive quickly, transparently and safely. The project involves 42 associations and as many as 8,000 end users with direct supplies and through canteens."
