In Rimini from Wednesday, Oct. 30 to Friday, Nov. 1, the 40th World Conference of the WUWM (Word Union of Wholesale Markets) the World Union of Wholesale Markets, organized by CAAR - Centro Agro Alimentare Riminese in collaboration with the Italmercati and Emilia Romagna Mercati business networks, under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Emilia Romagna Region and the Municipality of Rimini

"Wholesale markets and the food of the future: insights and opportunities for the agribusiness sector" is the title chosen for this important discussion among world market leaders, fruit and vegetable experts, institutions and international bodies with delegations from all over the world

"Piattaforma Logistica Solidale," a project of CAAR - Centro Agro Alimentare Riminese, surpasses the milestone of one thousand tons of top-quality fruits and vegetables distributed free of charge to 42 local charities and destined for the people who need them most

The "Solidarity Logistics Platform" project will be the focus in the 40th World Conference of the WUWM - Word Union of Wholesale Market to be held at the Rimini Palacongressi from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1

The CAAR - Centro Agro Alimentare Riminese has been awarded a 10 million euro grant from the PNRR for energy efficiency, improved commercial and logistical capacity, and process digitization

President Gianni Indino: "We are very pleased to have achieved this great goal that will allow us to consolidate ourselves as a state-of-the-art facility that is even more sustainable for the environment and for daily work. This is an important challenge, which we strongly wanted and which we face with the great commitment of all the staff."
